Kimsquit is a village on the central coast of British Columbia, located within the Nuxalk Nation Indigenous Administrative District.

The settlement is located at the mouth of the Dean River on the northeast side of Dean Channel, about 35 miles northwest of Bella Coola as the crow flies.

A local resident who owns a Cessna 172 (registered VB-RGW) based at the Dean River Airport (MTC LID: BQT2) adjacent to the village is licenced to carry passengers between the settlement and Bella Coola on an ad-hoc basis; the mail plane will also carry passengers when needed.

Road

There has been some discussion of connecting Kimsquit to the highway network by extending Tweedsmuir South Road, which runs from BC Highway 20 at Nutl′lhiixw to Asklhta, to Kimsquit and converting it to a highway, but no decision has yet been taken.

Ship

BC Ferries make four daily sailings in each direction between Bella Coola and Kimsquit, and there is a local ferry service operating three daily return trips from Kimsquit to Satskw, seven miles northwest across Dean Channel.
