European Union

The European Union is a supranational organisation in Europe.

In terms of the political and economic relations between its member states, it is similar to the British Commonwealth Realms, the Central European Community and the Nordic Union, but with greater political integration than the other three; unique to the EU is the existence of a European Parliament.
