Ecstew is a hamlet on the North Coast of British Columbia, within the Greater Prince Rupert Regional District.
It is approximately 23 road miles southeast of the city of Ganiks Laxha.

Ecstew Station lies along BC Rail's Grand Trunk Line and is served by two semi-express Rapid and two stopping Local services. The Telkwa Rapid (Trains 77.1–2/78.1–2) is operated by BC Rail and runs twice daily each way between Prince Rupert and Smithers, and the Haisa Rapid is operated jointly by BC Rail and the Skeena Pacific Railway and runs four times daily between Prince Rupert and Kemano; these trains will call at Ecstew if booked in advance. Local Trains 7001E.1-4/7002E.1-4, running four times daily each way between Prince Rupert and Hagwilget, and Trains 7005E.1-9/7006E.1-9, running every two hours between 6.00 and 23.00 in each direction between Prince Rupert and Ganiks Laxha, all make scheduled stops at Ecstew.
