DFJB Comox

Defence Forces Joint Base Comox, abbreviated DFJB Comox is a large military airbase in Comox, British Columbia. It is shared by the Royal British Columbia Air Force, the Royal British Columbia Navy, and the Royal British Columbia Marine Corps.

The RBCAF facitilites are called RBCAF Comox, and the Navy and Marine facilities are called NAB Kingfisher.

Its airfield is the largest on Vancouver Island, and is also used as the civilian airport for the Comox–Courtenay area.

RBCAF Comox

RBCAF Comox is the main headquarters of the Royal BC Air Force.

Units stationed here are 3 (Fighter), 6 (Transport/SAR), and 103 (Transport) Squadrons.

NAB Kingfisher

NAB Kingfisher is the main headquarters of Navy aviation; the Marines also use the Navy helicopter maintenance facilities here.
