Rail

Clinton is located on BC Rail's Cariboo Line, and is the northwestern terminus of the Sitlika Line. In addition to freight service, a number of Limited Express, Express, and Local passenger trains call at Clinton Station; other stations in greater Clinton are served only by Local and/or freight trains.

Sport

Football

Clinton Town FC is Clinton's professional football club, based at Lagoon Road stadium (capacity: 5,982). Presently playing in the Northwest Football Championship after having been relegated from BCFL Division Three in 2019, they have played a total of forty seasons of League football since 1973 - of which the highlight came in 2006, when they reached the promotion playoffs by finishing fourth in Division two; unfortunately they failed to win promotion to Division One. Their best performance in the BC FA Cup came in 1975, when they reached the quarter-finals.

Clinton Town have an intense rivalry with 100 Mile House SC known as the Cariboo Derby.
