Although primarily used for general aviation, the headquarters and main hub of Valley Air Taxi is located here.
Accidents and incidents
- 23 October 1941: Privately owned DH.66 Hercules VB-SPB (c/n C7/1929) crashed in a storm attempting to land at the airport; the pilot and single passenger were both killed.
