British Columbia, officially the Dominion of British Columbia (Chinook Wawa: Kinchoch Kolompi Ilihi, Ayas Tayi yaka Kinchoch Kolompi Ilihi), is a sovereign country on the northern west coast of North America.

It is one of the eighteen British Commonwealth Realms and thus a member of the Commonwealth of Nations. It is also a member of the United Nations, the Asia-Pacific Treaty Organisation, and the North American Free Trade Agreement.
