The 1946 BCFL season was the 14th season of play of the British Columbia Football League. Kitimat City won the League championship for the first time.
The 1946 season was the first to be played since the end of the 1941, as professional sport had been suspended for the duration of the Pacific War, from 1942 through 1945. During the war, various unofficial regional competitions were organised by the clubs, such as the Lower Mainland Football League, the Nechako Football League, the Okanagan Football League, and the South Island Football League. Jubilant in victory and keen to return to normal peacetime life, the people of BC were eager for football, and the 1946 season set records in attendance figures.
